Render Anything into a Photograph // Rhino + V-ray + Photoshop Tutorial [Full workflow]

In this tutorial we will bring your rendered model into the physical world and then set it on fire afterwards using rhino v-ray and photoshop.

Step 1: Import Background

Go over to properties tab and scroll all the way down where it says wallpaper, from here choose file.

Step 2: Do Perfective Matching

Finding out where the parallel lines are so let’s first off start by drawing a really long line so and make a copy of it. Use these two lines to kind of match where this dominant line of the desk is running.

Step 3: Create a Plane

For modeling purpose let’s make sure we have a rectangle too so that we can reference this again while we are modeling. Whatever you place here from now on is going to match perspective.

Step 4: Bring Back the Model

Bring back our model and place it on there, scale it down just a little bit to match the size on the plane and place it right in the middle of our table.

Step 5: Play Around the Setting

You can add some more people, furnitures, trees, etc.

Step 6: Create Light

Bring back the background image. When you’re creating the light for your own image kind of try to analyze where the lights are coming from. Use a interactive lighting mode.

Step 7: Add a Denoiser

With this we can have a better quality render.

Step 8: Import Render Output

Import both our background image to photoshop. Go ahead and crop our view, do color correction.
