Congratulations for making it to the end of 2021! Whether you are a starry-eyed freshman or a senior waiting to graduate, this is your chance to shine! Student Project Award (SPA) celebrates creativity, emerging talents, and diversity of student projects created across the globe. SPA endorses design excellence in young emerging talents in the fields of architecture, interior, landscape, urban and experimental design.
We are partnering up with Arch Hive to facilitate this award. Arch Hive is an open platform to creativity and talent, where all the participants may showcase their best works, giving them great visibility around the world.
How to Enter
The award is open to submissions on a global level, accepting works from participants all around the world. All the entries submitted to SPA must be projects completed in the past five years. You can submit your works in one of five main disciplines:
- Architecture
- Interior
- Landscape
- Urban
- Experimental
Each category will have a Jury’s Choice Award as well as Public’s Choice Award.

Register online
We are partnering with Arch Hive to host this competition. Head over to arch-hive.com to create your account. We take your privacy very seriously and your personal information will never be shared.

Upload your projects
Upload your project information to your profile using the online form. You can save temporarily and make changes after you publish. Make sure to include SPA2021 in the project tags section, and your project category in the category section.

Share
Celebration with better with friends! Share your project with your friends and colleagues. There will be user’s choice for each category based on the number of likes.
Submission requirements
Fees: our mission is to be one of the most accessible prizes, celebrating diversity and creativity. Therefore, this award is free to enter.
Deadline: January 9th, 23:59PM PDT
Results: February 7th
Categories
We created 5 Prize Categories ranging from the smaller scale and detail to a bigger scale project.
Within each category there will be two winners: Jury’s Choice Award and Public’s Award.
Q&A
Scale and sites are open to the designer’s discretion. We look favorably upon creative applications.
Absolutely. As long as it is relevant to the given topic.
We are only accepting individual submissions.
You can enter as many images as you want! Make sure they are separate posts with appropriate tags in the description.
There is no restrictions on the type of drawing. Choose the formats that best represents your project!
There is no special registration steps. You can simply post your images on your Instagram with the quote shown above to be eligible.
Yes! Entering as a team is allowed. Make sure to list all team members’ accounts/names in the description.
